4 gyotaku printed scups over a fantastic and original marine Radio Direction Finding Chart designed by Edward P York in 1956. Mr. York (b 1912) started a marine electronics business in Stonington CT in 1948, York Marine Radio, a pioneer in providing communication and navigation electronics for local fishermen as well as private yachts in that area.
This piece is beautifully layered and created from an actual inked fish by Massachusetts artist Jenna Reedy. Crisp black framing and signed by artist.
Not only visually compelling artwork- but its background provides maritime historical interest. Wonderful as an accent piece in any coastally themed decor.

About the Artist
Jenna Reedy has been painting & drawing fish for as long as she can remember. This passion evolved into key focus on Gyotaku fish printing. Other artwork includes nature prints, mixed media, and oil or acrylic landscapes.
Jenna’s style is inspired by combining colors, textures, the ocean and nature into her works. Each piece is an one-of-a-kind work and real fish are used for each unique print and are locally caught by friends and family.
Jenna grew up on the water in Scituate MA and is now a working Mom and part time artist
