Admiral May was the key project engineer for numerous, and challenging, lighthouse projects including may relocations and restorations of these beautiful and important coastal structures.

With over 34 years of active-duty service- this memoir reflects decades of devotion to the preservation of America's lighthouses and aids to navigation.

A portion of proceeds for each sale will be directed to the Friends of Plum Island Light to support their continued efforts on behalf of this historic Newburyport lighthouse.
