Built by the noted architect William Gibbons Preston in 1881 the famed, massive Mechanics Hall was located on Huntington Ave in Boston's Back Bay was the preeminent location for expositions from showcase the the surge of inventions of industry of the late 1800s from the wonders of electricity to the earliest automobile events.
Preston was renowned for his public and private Beaux Arts work from Paris to Boston and Savannah GA and a key influential preservationist that helped save the historic Boston State House, designed by Charles Bullfinch, from demolition in 1896. Sadly, most of his incredible structures have fallen to the wrecking ball of "progress" including Mechanics Hall in 1959 to make way for the Prudential Center in the era of urban renewal.
This 1911 design is steeped in the richness of the arts and crafts esthetic when these expositions advanced the amazing era of American innovation and possibility.

It soft and lightweight, with a smidge amount of stretch. It's comfortable and looks great on any gender
• 100% combed and ring-spun cotton (Heather colors contain polyester)
• Ash color is 99% combed and ring-spun cotton, 1% polyester
• Heather colors are 52% combed and ring-spun cotton, 48% polyester
• Athletic and Black Heather are 90% combed and ring-spun cotton, 10% polyester
• Heather Prism colors are 99% combed and ring-spun cotton, 1% polyester
• Fabric weight: 4.2 oz (142 g/m2)
• Pre-shrunk fabric
• Side-seamed construction
• Shoulder-to-shoulder taping
